Our Story

Your Pet Watchers , LLC is a local, family-owned business, operated by Kim Adler. Kim's love of pet’s dates back to childhood. Her family always had a pet while she was growing up. This included dogs, cats, birds, fish, and gerbils.  Kim had her first experience caring for large birds when she adopted 2 blue and gold Macaws at birth and fed them by hand. Her aviary grew to include Amazons and Quaker Parakeets. After marrying, her family rescued their first pet together, a beloved boxer named Bupkas. Kim's family has since grown to include their adopted daughter from China and their 4-year-old Maine Coon Cat.

After a career in healthcare, Kim wanted to devote her time to providing animals with the same level of loving care she had always provided her patients.   In order to provide this same level of care , she knew it was necessary to first become a Certified Professional Pet Sitter. In the ever-growing pet sitting industry, certification is a way to separate the professional pet sitter from the hobbyists.  Kim promises to take care of your pets and your home as if they were her own!
